Bid deadline
All bids for properties must reach the Harlow Homefinder office by 2pm on the closing date shown on the home page. Bids received after this date will not be considered eligible.
Need help bidding?

To make your bids by telephone use the above number and follow the instructions given over the line and on our How to bid page. Please note, this is a Lo-call number and you will be charged at a local call rate.
Bidding by text message

To make your bids by text (SMS), follow the instructions shown in the Scheme User Guide. The bidding deadline will always be 2pm on a Wednesday.
Ordering more coupons
If you are running low on coupons, there are three ways for you to order more:
- Tick the box on the back of the bidding coupon when you next bid
- Send a text (SMS) with your registration number, the hash symbol (#) and the word 'coupon' eg: HDC1234#coupon to 07781 472 726

Please note, anyone refusing 2 reasonable offers of accommodation will be moved down a band for a period of 6 months ( NB homeless households lose their priority after 1 reasonable offer ). Please, therefore, ensure that you only bid for properties you would be willing to accept.
MINIMUM AGE FOR SHELTERED HOUSING
With effect from 15th January 2009, the minimum age for new tenants of sheltered housing schemes is 65. Please do not bid on sheltered housing vacancies if you (or both you and your partner) are aged under 65 years.
